Forensic doctors who conducted the post mortem on Suris body said that he died instantly. However, earlier it was declared that Suri had died at 7.55 pm in a hospital. The Osmania Medical College forensic department head, Mr M. Narayana Reddy said, He was shot from behind and from a close range of two to three inches.

We retrieved two bullets, one that had pierced the upper part of his neck, cutting the spinal cord and the other from the right side of the hind brain. Police said Suri, who was extremely cautious, failed to judge his aide and this proved his undoing.

Even Suris food and liquor were first tasted by his associates. Suri would also borrow cars from others for a day or two to avoid being identified.
