APSRTC Wins Award for the lowest rate of accidents
The State run APSRTC won the award for control over road accidents in the state. The Central board for road transport which looks into the number of accidents caused due to vehicles, lauded the APSRTC for maintaing low rate of accidents. In its report, the board revealed that APSRTC had 0.12% of accidents for every 1 lakh kilometers travelled. The number happens to be the second lowest in the country.
