All eyes on Srikrishna panel report

The State is bracing itself for the release of the Justice B.N. Srikrishna Committee report by Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram in New Delhi today as there is anxiety all around on what it holds for the future of the State. Mr. Chidambaram will formally hand over copies of the report to representatives of political parties at a meeting he has convened in his office in New Delhi on January 6. Out of the eight parties invited by him, the TRS, BJP and the TDP have decided to keep away from the meeting.
Thus, only the Congress, Praja Rajyam, CPI, CPI (M) and MIM will be present. Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and APCC president D. Srinivas, are already in the capital to be available to the Congress high command for consultations.

Don't post rude or nasty comments. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. |
