The district administration has taken all necessary precautions in view of the Justice Srikrishna Committee report being made public on today. Police were put on high alert at many places. The State government has already secured Central police forces anticipating disturbances.

The police officials feel that it would not be a problem to maintain law and order as long as the agitations were democratic in manner and the force stationed in the district would be sufficient to deal with the situation. Tight security has been arranged at Gandhi Bhavan, NTR Trust Bhavan, PRP, CPM, Lok Satta while TRS and BJP offices did not see any added security outside its offices.
