The Telugu Desam Party Chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu said that, the State had lost major share in the Krishna waters & failed in effectively arguing before the Tribunal. He alleged that the Congress government had spent Rs.60,000 Crores on Irrigation projects, but not a single acre was brought under irrigation.

The party president stated that, the TDP has decided to organize a Dharna programme on January 9th , protesting against the Tribunal verdict, at New Delhi. And added that his party also decided to conduct a signature campaign on the verdict.

Addressing the media after holding an all party meeting on Krishna River Water dispute at NTR Trust Bhavan on Wednesday, Babu said that the Tribunal had failed to assure Krishna waters in proportion to availability.
