T-Cong. Leaders chalks out future plan

Congress leaders from Telangana decided to mount pressure on centre by threatening to resign from their posts demanding introduction of Telangana bill in the Parliament. The Telangana Congress leaders met at the Nizam Club early on Friday morning to discuss the Justice Srikrishna Committee recommendations, where it was decided that they should mount pressure on centre for introduction of Telangana bill on the first day of the budget session of Parliament.
The meeting also condemned the police action on Osmania University students on Thursday, and decided to meet Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to raise their concern over the issue. The Congress leaders also demanded that the government lifted curbs on the media regarding covering the aftermath on the Srikrishna Report.
