Agitators target Ministers, MLAs

Demand withdrawal of forces from OU campus
TRS activists staged a dharna at Mayuri centre demanding withdrawal of the paramilitary forces from OU campus and introduction of a Bill on separate Telangana in the Parliament. The belligerent mood of the students forced Telangana Congress leaders in Hyderabad to change tack from their earlier resolve to resign from their posts.
They realised that their immediate priority was to pacify the student community by articulating their demand for withdrawal of paramilitary forces from the Osmania University campus and giving access to the media to cover the developments.
They held separate meetings at the residences of CWC member K. Keshava Rao, who has returned from Jharkhand, and Panchayat Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy, to discuss how they could force the government to yield to the twin demands.
