Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who was a part of the All India Women Lawyers Conference said woman is on par with man in every feild in this century. Addressing the meeting in the city on saturday, Kiran said his Government introduced many schems for the benefit for women in the state.

He asked the people of the state to be unbiased and look upon both the genders with the same respect. The CM hoped that women's bill seeking 33% reservation would soon be implemented with a fast approval.

Also present were law minister E Pratap Reddy and High Court judge B Prakash Rao also spoke on the occasion. Justice Altamas Kabir handed over the 'Sthree Vakil Puraskar' to former governor of Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka V S Ramadevi.
