Telugu Desam chief will interact with Krishna delta farmers on tribunal award

TDP president N. Chandrabu Naidu will visit West Godavari district on Monday as part of Rytu yatra' to receive a direct feedback from the farmers of Krishna delta on the fall out of the award of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal on sharing of the Krishna river waters and for an interface with the tobacco growers.

According to Pali Prasad, TDP district committee spokesman, Mr. Naidu will reach the tobacco auction platform at Koyyalagudem from Tadepalligudem at 10 a.m. after arriving from Hyderabad by train for interaction with the tobacco growers.

The extensive damage of tobacco crop due to heavy rain in the northern light soil area and the price crash are likely to figure in the course of Mr. Naidu's interaction. After unveiling of NTR statues at Jangareddygudem and Gangannagudem, he will proceed to Pothunuru for a meeting with the Krishna delta farmers on the sharing of the Krishna river water.
