Jagan undertake one-day fast at Janta Mantar

Former Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday, left for New Delhi to undertake his one-day fast, to highlight the plight of farmers in State. Accompanied by a large number of farmers and leaders loyal to him, he left for the national capital by a special train from Secunderabad.
According to Sources, Jagan would undertake the fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi tomorrow. The objective of his fast is to highlight farmers' plight who suffered heavily due to cyclones, & possible adverse impact of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal on the state.
The former Kadapa MP had held a 48-hour fast at Vijayawada last month demanding hike in compensation announced by the government for the rain-hit farmers.
