Union minister of environment, Jairam Ramesh, visited Tirumala Temple on Sunday, to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. The minister was accorded warm welcome at the Holy Sanctum, on his arrival during the period of VIP Darshan. Mr. Jairam Ramesh has performed special puja under the guidance of purohits and Vedic pundits.

The police had made elaborate security arrangements to mark the Union Ministers visit to hill shrine. Meanwhile, The Congress MP from Tirupathi constituency, Mr.Chintha Mohan also accompanied the M. Jairam in his visit to the presiding deity.
