TDP chief's 'Rhythu Kosam' Yatra concludes in Khammam district

Expressing concern over the ill-effects of Brijesh Kumar tribunal verdict, TDP president Chandrababu Naidu said that, the delta region of coastal Andhra would turn into desert. He alleged the state government had utterly failed to protect the rights of the state, in Krishna waters distribution.

As part of Rythu Kosam, Mr Naidu visited Kanchikacharla and Nandigama on Wednesday, and left for Khammam. Earlier, talking to the media, Mr Naidu said the TD is formulating a plan on how to fight a legal battle for the rights on Krishna waters.

Addressing a public meeting at Madhira in Khammam district, Mr Naidu demanded that the central and state governments implement the Swaminathan committee recommendations, for agricultural sector for the betterment of farmers. He criticised that all the 32 MPs from the state who belong to Congress utterly failed to protect the interests of the state.
