CM holds discussions over burning prices of onions

Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy on wednesday asked the concerned officials of civil supply to look into the rising prices of Onions. Minister for Civil Supplies, Shridhar Babu said that the Chief minister has asked them to ensure that onions were sold at the lowest possible price in all the main cities of the state.
Currently the onions are brought from the marketing department for sale into the markets. Minister Shridhar said that plans are being drawn to ensure availability of vegetables in a packet at the Rate of Rs99. The Civil supplies Minister also added that free transportation will be provided shortly to farmers to sell their vegetables. The Chief Minister held a meeting to discuss on the extereme prices of onions, vegetables and other edibles.
