Addressing newspersons in warangal, C Krishnan the Executive director for Reserve Bank of India asked people to stay alert in awake of the number of fake notes being generated. He said that the latest technology was being used to enusre that the notes resembled to look as original as possible.

Krishnan was the Chief Guest for the awareness programme arranged by the enterpeneurs, banks and ap gramin vikas banks to enlighten people on the growing number of duplicate notes. He said that RBI would come up and educate people on easy ways to identify fake notes. Adding further he said, that apart from the quality of the note, their are other marks on the notes through which one can identify them.
