The Rachchabanda programme will be held in every village from January 24 to February 12 to get direct feedback from people on implementation of welfare programmes and for redressal of their grievances. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy with Ministers. Kanna Lakshminarayana, Botcha Satyanarayana, Anam Ramnarayan Redy, D. Sridhar Babu, Damodar Rajanarsimha and P.Sudarshan Reddy and officials of Planning Department here on Thursday.

Later, speaking to media persons, Housing Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana said that Rs.1,200 crore would be released to various departments related to above welfare schemes in the next 10 days including Rs.450 crore pending dues under Pavala Vaddi to SHG groups. He would hold a video conference with Collectors on the new programme on January 18.
