Bhogi celebrations in Vijayawada
*City wears festive fervour
The first day of 3-day festival, Sankranti, is celebrated on grand scale across the state, on Friday. If we see in vijayawada city, The Bhogi fete was observed with gaiety & fervor in teh city, with youngsters collected dry twigs, grass, waste paper, make a heap & light a bonfire. The earthen ground had filled with Colorful Rangoli's. Bull dances, Haridasus, Cock fights witnessed at various places in the city.
