Sania gutkha spam hits mail
AA

Mid-Day.com: It's controversy time for Sania bhabhi, as she is called in Pakistan, again. A widely distributed mail on the Internet shows Sania Mirza endorsing a gutkha brand simply called Pakistani Gutkha. The mail comes with an attached picture and asks people to chew gutkha daily. The catchline goes: 'Sania Bhabhi Gutkha, 72 per cent jyaada strong.'

Sania said on her Twitter page about the gutkha email: 'I am not endorsing or associated with any guthkha (Sania's spelling) brand. It's false and mischief created by someone. I hope this sets the record clear once and for all." The gutkha ad also borders on an innuendo that reads: 'Taazgi bhara ho ang ang, jab ho Sania bhabhi gutkha sang'. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been part of e-mail spam in the past. The Sachin shell house spam was in cyberspace for approximately a month. In Sachin's case, emails were circulating with an attachment of eight photographs showing a bizarre snail-like structure reading: 'This is Sachin Tendulkar's new house in Bandra-Mumbai-India. The architect is Javier Senoaisain'. Mexico-based Senoaisain Mexico was bewildered when the email was forwarded to him for a response and had stated that though this house was designed by him in Mexico City, it had nothing to do with Sachin Tendulkar and that he ha never visited India.
