Mayawati on her 55th birthday orders to release Banda girl

The much hyped case of Banda girl in UP saw some favour on Saturday from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, as she ordered the release of jailed girl, who was allegedly raped by a BSP MLA. As per report of the sources, Mayawati told that strict action will be taken against guilty as well as policemen, who were harassing the minor by charging her with theft apparently as a part of a conspiracy.
An official spokes person of the party said that the CM has ordered the release of the girl on the basis of the report submitted by CID. The BSP leader Mayawati on the eve of her 55th birthday while addressing the people said that a Crime Branch-CID probe in the matter is on and after its report, the state government will take stern action against the policemen and others involved in harassing the girl.
