For the first time since the submission of Srikrishna Committee Report, leaders cutting across party lines came together on Sunday, to revive the slogan of a joint struggle for the Telangana state. The meeting gained significance in view of the road blockades, proposed by JAC & TRS today.

With several leaders having reservations under Prof. Kodandaram, the Telangana Development Forum shouldered the responsibility of bringing leaders of all major political parties, on to a common platform, at a meeting held on Sunday.
