The Congress MPs from Telangana region are in a peculiar dilemma, to accept or not to accept cabinet berths, if offered by party high command. According to indications from New Delhi, the Congress high command might offer a couple of berths, in the Manmohan Singh cabinet to the Telangana MPs. The cabinet reshuffle likely to take place in the next few days.

On the other hand, if the Congress MPs accept the offer, it would send wrong signals among the people of Telangana, that they had mortgaged the separate Telangana cause for the sake of ministerial posts. The talk of cabinet expansion has created a division among the Telangana MPs.
