Sudarshan Reddy is new Advocate-General

The government has appointed A. Sudarshan Reddy as new Advocate-General of the State, after his resignation as additional AG. He replaces D.V. Sitarama Murthy, who tendered his resignation, reportedly at the instance of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, along with three additional AGs, including Mr. Sudarshan Reddy, P. Harinath Gupta and A. Satya Prasad. Fifty-one-year-old Sudarshan Reddy hails from Jagtial in Karimnagar district.
He did degree in Nizam College and legal studies in Osmania University. He was senior to Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy in Nizam College. Mr. Sudarshan Reddy was a practising senior advocate in the A.P. High Court before he became additional advocate-general in 2009.
