ACB special court sanctioned for Rajahmundry

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday agreed to sanction a special court at Rajahmundry for dealing with Anti-Corruption Bureau cases.. During a review meeting with Director General, ACB and other officials of the department on Monday, the Chief Minister positively responded to the appeal and immediately sanctioned the special court.
According to Sriramachandra Murthy, DSP, ACB, Rajahmundry, as of now there are 80 cases pending in Vijayawada court . According to Rajahmundry Bar Association, the High Court may club cases of Rajahmundry and Eluru Range ACB offices.
Rajahmundry Bar Association thanked N. Kiran Kumar Reddy for sanctioning the ACB. State Human Rights Council president Muppalla Subba Rao also welcomed the decision and said henceforth pendency of ACB cases will come down in Godavari districts which are high in the State.
