in the offing Revenue minister N.Raghuveera Reddy, has convened an important all-party meeting on Tuesday, to discuss the draft loan eligibity cards to tenant farmers, which plans to provide loan eligibility. The issue assumes significance as tenant farmers, who have been cultivating lands without any written agreement of lease from the land owner.

The government in its observation said, In the wake of no written agreements between the tenant and land owner, the permissive cultivator takes recourse to private moneylenders for loans at an exorbitant rate of interest. In order to avoid economic distress & to ameliorate the socio-economic condition, it is necessary to provide economic support to that community, to prevent such suicidal deaths of peasants.
