Rich tributes were paid to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao, on the occasion of his 15th death anniversary on Tuesday. Former Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by his wife Bhuvaneswari and son Lokesh, placed a wreath at the NTRs memorial at NTR ghat.

Later, They have participated in an all-religion prayer. Naidu said the party was formed on the plank of the self-respect of Telugus and it would continue to work for the goal. Ironically, Mr.Naidu demanded the Government at the centre to confer late NTR, with a prestigious Bharatratna award, the country's highest civilian honour, on NTR posthumously . TDP leaders Devender Goud, K. Vijayarama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Nannapaneni Rajakumari were also present.
