The Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhara Rao has given a call to its party leaders and cadre to disrupt the Congress government's Rachabanda programme starting January 24. Briefing presspersons later, TRS floor leader in the Assembly Eetala Rajender and former Minister G. Vijayarama Rao, said they were also studying the mood of the Centre whether it was in favour of or against the formation of a separate State.
Once that was decided, the politburo would discuss it further before announcing as to who would represent the party at the meeting, they said. Mr. Rajender said a Telangana students' conference would be held at Hakimpet near here on January 22. About 150 members from each of the 119 constituencies were expected. On January 29, students would take out a bus yatra in 14 of the total of 17 Parliamentary constituencies of the region.
