After meeting party MPs from Telangana twice, the Congress core committee has now summoned all party MPs from the Seemandhra region on January 20 to discuss the state bifurcation issue.The core committee has already held two discussions with party MPs from Telangana and another one is scheduled for January 21.

But this is the first time that Seemandhra MPs have been invited and sources say that the meeting will be attended by senior leaders like Mr Pranab Mukherjee, Mr A.K. Antony, Mr Ahmed Patel and Mr Veerappa Moily.

The decision will nullify criticism from certain quarters about only MPs from Telangana region being called for discussions without asking for the views of Seemandhra MP on the bifurcation issue.Meanwhile, Seemandhra MPs have confirmed that they will participate in the meeting and they have decided to meet at the residence of the senior MP, Mr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, to finalise their strategy beforehand.
