Kishan Reddy Cycles His Way To Assembly

B haratiya Janata Party state president and Amberpet MLA G Kishan Reddy, staged a demonstration on Wednesday, by pedaling a bicycle. This is the protest against the frequent and steep hike, in the petrol prices. Starting from Barkatpura BJP office, Kishan Reddy attracted huge crowds in route as he rode his cycle and went to attend the Public Accounts Committee meeting, in the premises of the state assembly.
A large number of BJP leaders and cadres also pedaled cycles and followed Kishan Reddy, but they were all arrested mid-way and only the MLA was allowed to go into the assembly. Kishan Reddy alleged that the UPA government had increased petrol prices 19 times in its six year rule, causing heavy burden on the common man. The state government was also making huge money in the form of sales tax, which is the highest in the country.
