Former Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy taking exception to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's alleged failure in protecting interests of State, has called upon people to elect MPs representing the party to be launched by him so that they shake the Centre.

Addressing a large gathering, on Thursday at Visakhapatnam, he said that despite the people of State sending 33 Congress MPs, they could not get national project status for Polavaram, or get the Dummugudem and Chevella-Pranahitha projects implemented. He asserted that Krishna Water Tribunal's recommendations, would turn the State into a dessert.

The `Odarpu Yatra' will end today, and Mr. Jagan would sit on `Jana Deeksha' from 10 a.m. tomorrow, in front of Kali temple, on R.K. Beach to protest against the hike in petrol price.
