Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu has called upon his party functionaries, to grill the Government on people's problems during the Rachabanda programme. Mr. Naidu held a teleconference with party leaders across 294 Assembly constituencies on Thursday, and told them to raise the matter of discrimination in payment of compensation to farmers, non-payment of input subsidy pertaining to last year, payment of minimum support price to damaged paddy, irregularities in paddy purchase centres and several other issues.

Maintaining that it was for the Centre to decide on Srikrishna committee report, he said people were already aware of the collusion between TRS and Congress, with a view to damage TDP. He also asked them to protest in a novel way during the agitation on January 22 in protest against the hike in prices of petrol, diesel and other essential commodities.
