Cracks surface in Telangana TDP

Dissensions within the Telangana TDP over the line to be taken for achieving statehood have come into the open with a senior leader, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, taking pot-shots at his party colleague, Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
Reacting to comments made by Dr. Reddy against those not in favour of a separate party unit for Telangana, Mr. Narasimhulu said there were some persons in the party who were blackmailing the leadership by raising demands not relevant to formation of Telangana.
He would lodge a complaint against such leaders to the party president, N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said instead of using the freedom given by Mr. Naidu as seen in the formation of a forum headed by Dr. Reddy to act in tune with the wishes of the people of the region, these leaders were unnecessarily demanding a separate unit for the region.
