Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy has taken exception to the government offices, schools being turned into playgrounds by employees who went on Pen down' strike. Speaking to media persons on Friday, the Minister who is also convenor of Group of Ministers looking into the demands of government employees, said that such acts would only bring down the image of government institutions and employees among people.

He was referring to reports and pictures carried in the media about government employees relaxing by playing outdoor games during the three-day pen down strike since Wednesday. The GoM is likely to meet again today and also talk to JAC which raised issues beyond the purview of Pay Revision Commission's recommendations.
