TDP Chief Chandrababu vents anger on the ruling Congress

Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu has attributed the unending price rise in the country to what he called the greed for higher income on the part of the State and Central government. He said the overnment is acting like a trader by looking for profits in everything, he alleged.
Speaking at a dharna organised in the city on Saturday to protest the recent hike in petrol price and prices of essential commodities, Mr. Naidu asked the ruling Congress party to implement the administrated price mechanism promised by it before the 2009 elections to control price rise of petroleum products. He wanted the government to justify how it could sell petrol costing just Rs. 20.25 a litre, including the cost of refining, transport and other overheads, at Rs. 65.17 a litre
