Meanwhile, Telangana TDP Forum convenor, Nagam Janardhan Reddy was not only finally forced to give up his vociferous demand for a separate unit of the party for the region but made to announce the same after a meeting with the party president.

Chandrababu Naidu on Monday. Emerging out of the meeting at Mr. Naidu's residence and attended by senior Telangana leaders, Mr. Janardhan Reddy told media persons that henceforth the struggle for separate Statehood would continue under the aegis of the Forum.

Instead of fighting within the party, it was better to challenge the Congress united as it was for that party to give or reject separate State. TDP had no role except to make its stand clear which it had done long ago, Naidu said.
