TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu said that Krishna delta would become a desert if the verdict of Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-II was implemented due to the Government's inept handling of the issue. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has not called an all - party meeting to plan the immediate course of action. He neither had basic understanding of agriculture nor paid heed to advice of experts on issues pertaining to the farm sector. Addressing a public meeting here during `Rythu Kosam' tour on Tuesday, Mr. Naidu said farmers were in dire straits as the promises to procure paddy destroyed by unseasonal rains, were largely confined to rhetoric.
