TTD proposes Vimana Venkatesa darshanam

In another pilgrim-friendly move, the administrators of the Lord Venkateswara temple here are toying with an idea of providing Vimana Venkatesa' darshan to devotees thronging the sacred hill shrine. According to the new proposal, a high raised platform will be constructed outside the main temple complex on the northern side of the outer prakaram', adjacent to the temple Pushkarini, from where the visiting devotees can have darshan of Vimana Venkatesa' embossed on the three-tier golden canopy atop the sanctum sanctorum of the Tirumala temple. Talking to mediapersons, the TTD Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said the privilege will not only come as a handy to the physically challenged and aged devotees visiting the hill shrine but also would enable larger section of the devout, have a second time glimpse of the Ananda Nilayam.
