Defying protests by TRS activists, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy held his governments ambitious mass-contact programme ''Rachabanda'' in Maheswaram on friday. Reddy participated in the ''Rachabanda" programme where TRS workers and DSC 2008 candidates held obstructions. Reddy interacted with women over the implementation of various government schemes and told the officials that every rupee being spent should reach the targeted beneficiaries.

Nallari asked the opposition parties to stay at home if they did not want to see the implementation of welfare schemes. The CM said that Telangana issue will be sorted only by the centre and no one could alter its decision.
