Praja Rajyam party will ensure that the government in the State will complete its full term in the event of an internal crisis within the Congress threatening its survival, stated president of Praja Rajyam party Chiranjeevi.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that PR's idea in coming to the rescue of the ruling Congress if the situation warranted was only to prevent a political crisis and the burden of another election on the people who are already beleaguered with economic crisis.

Elections would only add to the woes of people, he added. Asked whether he considered Congress as a friend or a rival, Mr.Chrianjeevi said that the question is of no consequence as the PR will always act in the interest of the people. If the people give us a chance we will prove what we can do for them, Chiranjeevi asserted.
