State, Meghalaya to sign MoU on fish supplies
Andhra Pradesh and Meghalaya have decided to enter into a memorandum of understanding soon on pisciculture and fish supplies. The North-Eastern State is also seeking AP's co-operation in improving their medical and health sector. Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mukul Sangma and Minister for Fisheries and Urban Affairs F.S. Cajee called on Chief Minister K. Rosaiah here on Tuesday and hailed the progress of Hyderabad as major centre for medical services and AP as a hub of information technology and other knowledge-driven services. Stating that Meghalaya did not have good medical institutions and the people were forced to go to far-off places like Delhi and even Hyderabad for availing good healthcare. The North-Eastern State was looking forward for co-operation from developed States like AP to improve medical services there, Dr. Sangma told his counterpart Mr. Rosaiah during their meet.
