Assembly budget session likely from February 17
The budget session of the Assembly is likely to begin from February 17th, next month. Finance Minister A. Ramanarayan Reddy gave an indication to this effect on Saturday, after meeting Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to discuss the budget.
Sources said, the size of the budget for 2011-12 might be fixed at a level higher than that of the current year. Estimates have been prepared for a budget ot Rs 1.25 lakh crore with a view to absorbing the inflation and provide the much needed buoyancy to different sectors.
