Telangana Ministers seek Seemandhra colleagues' help

Ministers hailing from Telangana have decided to appeal to their Seemandhra counterparts and legislators to extend cooperation to enable smooth creation of separate State. On Sunday, six Ministers met at the residence of Minister for Information and Public Relations D. K. Aruna to discuss the statehood issue and also the protests at the ongoing Rachabanda programme.
The Telangana Congress Ministers felt that Seemandhra elected representatives should understand the aspirations of the people of Telangana and cooperate with them to fulfil their statehood dream. Talking to reporters, Mr. Jana Reddy said they were planning to seek appointment of the party president. Earlier, at a meeting eight Telangana Congress MPs wrote a letter to the Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee stating that sending comments on Justice Srikrishna Committee report was a futile exercise.
