Members of the Legislative Assembly are set to get feature-rich laptops during the budget session of the Assembly likely to begin from February 17. The MLAs will be given the notebook-sized laptops with state-of-the-art features.

A special feature of the notebooks will be the constituency monitoring software, developed specifically for the MLAs, to keep a tab on the activities and developments in their respective constituencies. Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar told that the distribution of the laptops would be accompanied by a five-day intense training to the elected representatives to enable them effectively use their new devices with seamless net connectivity.
