A team of Telugu Desam Party leaders mainly consisting of MLAs Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Tangirala Prabhakar, Dasari Balavardhana Rao and Sriram Rajagopal went on a visit to the Pulichintala project site in a bid to put pressure on the government to complete the project expeditiously by June this year without causing any further delays.

Protesting against the inordinate delay, Mr. Umamaheswara Rao demanded that during his forthcoming visit to the district for Rachabanda programme on February 3, Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy should explain the reasons for the delay in completion of the project to the people and promise to take steps for making up for the lost time.

Accompanied by TDP Polit Bureau member Uppuleti Kalpana and other TDP MLAs, Mr. Umamaheswara Rao visited the project when they interacted and enquired with the contractors and officials about the current progress of the project.
