State to help students get legal aid: CM
The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Wednesday said the state government would extend all possible help to students caught in the Tri-Valley University controversy to get proper legal aid. Reacting to the Indian students being fixed with radio-tags, the Chief Minister said it was an unfortunate incident. He, however, said each country has its own laws and procedures.
Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy said he has written to the Union minister of external affairs seeking the Central governments intervention and also has addressed a similar request to the Indian Embassy in the United States.
