Former Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday took serious objection to Congress Working Committee member G Venkataswamy's comments on Sonia Gandhi, wherein he had demanded her to relinquish her post.

Talking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party office, the former CM condemned Venkataswamy's remarks and demanded that he withdraw his comments immediately and apologise to Sonia Gandhi. Rosaiah said that the senior Congress leader, after enjoying various positions in the Congress, forgot the party principles and was now making baseless allegations against Sonia Gandhi and her leadership.
