Plan to merge PRP & Cong. was drafted by YSR

The plan to merge Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress is not the latest development, as it was drafted in 2009 itself by, late Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy said Rajamundry MP, Undavalli Arun Kumar, on Wednesday.
Addressing the media in New Delhi, on Wednesday, He released a letter written by YSR to Congress president Sonia Gandhi on May 18, 2009, just two days after the assembly election results. In the letter, YSR pointed out that the PRP had caused considerable damage to the Congress vote bank in the state and the only way to restore it is to invite the PRP into the Congress asking for a merger.
Vundavalli said the Congress position had worsened not now, but in 2009 elections itself when YSR was alive. Meanwhile, reacted on Venkataswamys statements on AICC president, he opined that, an elderly man might have used abusive words, in a furious situation.
