Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday assured the student community that arrears in payment of scholarship would be cleared and fee reimbursement made in phases to ensure that college managements did not object to their sitting for examinations.

Referring to the demand for university for Prakasam district raised by the AISF leader, the Chief Minister said there was continuity in governance. If former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy had promised it, it will be fulfilled. If it has to be taken up afresh, my government will initiate the process, he said.
