The Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi will launch relay hunger strikes in front of all district Collectorates to bring pressure on Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi seeking that the SC categorisation bill be moved in Parliament in the budget session.

At a press conference on Monday, MRPS president Manda Krishna expressed apprehensions that with the proposed meeting of the State Cabinet scheduled on February 14, the Chief Minister would not probably lead the delegation as promised earlier.

He recalled that it was only after the late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy led a delegation to the national capital in the past that the Usha Mehra Commission was constituted.
