Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy took part in the Rachabanda programme in Khammam & Medak districts, on Wednesday. Kiran Kumar Reddy arrived at Majjegudem of Khammam district , in a special helicopter.

Meanwhile, the Political JAC of Telangana has called for a district wide bandh in the district, with a mark of protest to obstruct mass contact program. Addressing the event, the Chief Minister said that, the daily wages for laborers would be hiked to Rs. 121 for 25 days.

He asserted that the increase in the allowance will help prevent the migration of laborers to other states. He announced that, Rupees. 184 crores was spent under various welfare schemes in the district.
