The Karnataka tourism Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy on Wednesday, dismissed Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam merging with the Congress as trivial development, saying the actor could not wield much influence in State politics.

Talking to News persons after attending in a marriage ceremony, in Kurnool district, on Wednesday, the BJP leader was warmly welcomed by MLA, Katasani Ramboopal Reddy. Reacting on BJPs stand in Karnataka, The Minister said that, there is no harm from any side to the party, till next 50 years. However, he said Mr. Jaganmhan Reddy had bright political career because of his constructive stand.

In the meantime, he strongly criticized Governor Baradhwaaj for his alleged attempt to paralyze governments rule in the state. On the Obulapuram mines issue, he said the company would abide by the court verdict saying they would honour judicial ruling.
