Governor offers worship at Tirumala

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan accompanied with his wife Vimala Narasimhan on Wednesday, offered prayers at the famous Tirumala temple of Lord Venkateswara. On his arrival at the temple 'Mahadwaram', he was traditionally received with temple honours and was led into the holy sanctum.
He stood for about ten minutes in front of the main deity and offered his prayers. The Governor who will stay overnight atop the temple town will participate in the annual 'Ratha Sapthami' festival today.
